 | PINGS-where Corrie fans get together and have a wonderul time
-we chat about the show, have trivia and games, some good food/drinks and share lots of laughs
-Sheila and I have been having pings in the GTA for close to 7 years now. Over the years we have had special guests including our favourite 'extra' Darran and his wife Eileen, Mark Llwellyn, Peter Riley (who is sadly no longer with us) and Donna, plus Debbie Travis. We've also had them for special online Corrie friends who were in town.
-our pings have been filmed for the CBC news, Living in Toronto and the Coronation Street special Corrie Crazy which had Debbie Travis attend
-we've met a lot of wonderful fans over the years, many have become very special friends

Spring Ping in Pickering -March 20th, 2011

-we met at the Fox and Fiddle Mansion in Pickering on March 20th, 2011. What a fabulous afternoon we had with over 80 Corrie fans. Thankyou to everyone who donated prizes, special thanks to Ann & James for generously donating a VIP ticket to see Roy & Hayley, the staff at the pub, David (ticket seller), Al, co-organizer Sheila, plus the fans that attended .
Another special thankyou goes to Stroll Promotions who very kindly donated two tickets to An Audience with the Croppers

 | WINNING TRIP TO MANCHESTER-In July 2009 I won the CBC contest looking for Canada's # 1 Corrie fan. My prize was a trip for 2 to Manchester, 6 nights at the Marriott, spending money, a tour of the studios and bragging rights as the number one fan.
- What a week it was, the tour, meet cast and other fans, signing autographs, in 2 newspaper, an exclusive interview for a magazine and so much more...all for being a fan of the best show in the world!!! |
